BRIEF: McClung Museum hosts 'Family Day' July 12

July 02--The McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture hosts a free Family Fun Day 1-4 p.m.July 12. The activities and tours will focus on the museum's permanent exhibit " Archaeology and the Native Peoples of Tennessee." the museum is at 1327 Circle Park Drive on the University of Tennessee campus.

"Archaeology and the Native People of Tennessee" is a 3,200-square-foot exhibit that illustrates Tennessee's Native American heritage. The exhibit is based on decades of research by UT archaeologists and includes artifacts and examples of prehistoric Native American art.
