State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Assigned Patent

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 18 -- State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance, Bloomington, Illinois, has been assigned a patent (8,774,465) developed by three co-inventors for a system and method "for providing automotive purchase, insurance quote, and vehicle financing information using vehicle recognition." The co-inventors are Nick U. Christopulos, Bloomington, Illinois, Matthew R. Anderson, Bloomington, Illinois, and Nathan Lee Tofte, Downs, Illinois.
