H1 Newly-issued Bonds to CNY5.53trn

BEIJING, July 18, SinoCast -- A total of CNY 5.53 trillion bonds were issued in China in the first half of 2014, according to China Securities Depository and Clearing Company Limited(CSDCC).

CNY 685.2 billion T-bonds were issued, falling 9.73% over a year earlier; CNY 545.33 billion corporate bonds were issued, growing 18.29%; CNY 1.333 trillion policy-bank bonds were issued, growing 36.31%; CNY 22.5 billion commercial bank bonds were issued, growing 60%. Total bonds issued by policy banks and T-bonds accounted for 36.64% of total bonds issued in the first half of this year.

According to data by Wind Info, CNY 1.09 trillion urban investment bonds were issued, accounting for 19.7% of total bonds issued in the first half of this year, growing 88% over a year earlier and exceeding the full-year figure of CNY 701.7 billion a year earlier.
