United Kingdom : RIB nominates Stephen James Orlesky as new CEO

The Romanian International Bank (RIB) has hired Stephen James Orlesky as new CEO after the National Bank of Romania sanctioned the appointment.

The management team of the bank also covers Ana Elena Cernat, Mioara Popescu and Radu Vasilescu who were named executive vice-presidents.

Orlesky has more than 20 years of experience in the banking field> Earlier, he was working in Berlarusian Bank (part of Getin Holding Poland) and prior to that for the Royal Bank of Canada.

The new CEO added, We will implement the Getin Holding business model by developing RIB products to achieve group standards, while the needs of the local market will remain a priority with the bank focusing mainly on retail and small business. The Romanian International Bank is currently undergoing a rebranding process as it will transform into Idea Bank and move to Hermes Business Campus .
