Sen. Roberts Introduces Bill to Ensure Futures Commission Merchant Compliance

WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., has introduced legislation (S. 2601) to "amend the Commodity Exchange Act to ensure futures commission merchant compliance."

The bill was introduced on July 15 and has Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., as co-sponsor.

The legislation was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee.
