Idaho Dems: Meet the Filmmaker and Watch Electoral Dysfunction, July 24, Boise

July 16, 2014

BOISE, Idaho, July 16 -- The Idaho Democratic Party issued the following news item in a blog entry:

The campaign of Rep. Holli Woodings for Secretary of State (http://www.woodingsforidaho.com/) is inviting everyone to enjoy the film Electoral Dysfunction-and talk talk to award-winning filmmaker Bennett Singer.

This is a one-night-only opportunity and the tickets are cheaper than The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sHMCRaS3ao&feature=kp)-a film that explores Lawerence Denney's contrasting vision of democracy.

Disclaimer: Any satirical humor, tasteful and otherwise, directed at Mr. Denney (and his terrible political views , his hyper-partisan approach to issues, and his relentless campaign to sell Idaho's public lands) is solely the creation and responsibility of the Idaho Democratic Party.

Rep. Woodings will moderate a question and answer session with Mr. Singer.

What: Watch Electoral Dysfunction and Meet Filmmaker Bennett Singer

When: 7 p.m., Thursday, July 24

Where: The Flicks, Boise

Tickets: 10$ and Just Click HERE! (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/740982)

Here's the message from Rep. Woodings' campaign:

On July 24th, award-winning filmmaker Bennett Singer is coming to Boise for one-night only to screen his film, Electoral Dysfunction (http://electoraldysfunction.org/). The film enjoyed a dual premier at both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions in 2012. In the film, Mo Rocca uses humor and wit to take an irreverent and nonpartisan look at voting in America. It's an eye opener!

The documentary will be shown July, 24th at 7pm at the Flicks. Immediately following the screening, I will moderate a question and answer session with the filmmaker.

The Woodings for Idaho campaign team will be there, and we hope you'll join us! Tickets are $10.

Hope to see you there,

Holli Woodings
