Country artists coming to Evans

July 17--A day of country music will soon be upon the Augusta area.

Award-winning country duo Montgomery Gentry will be coming to Lady Antebellum Pavilion, 7016 Evans Town Center Blvd., on Sept. 19.

The duo will be joined by the bands Ray Fulcher & the County Line, Jeremy Graham Band, Kenny George Band and Phil Lee with Michael Baideme.

Advance tickets for $25 are now available. Military and service personnel will receive $5 off their tickets.

Advance tickets can be purchase online or at any of the following Aiken County locations: Boots Bridles & Britches in Aiken, and Sunrise Grill and four Greg's Gas Plus locations in North Augusta.

Limited VIP tickets are also available for $75. Tickets the day of the show are $35.

Montgomery Gentry consists of Troy Gentry and Eddie Montgomery.

"We grew up on Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Merle Haggard," said Montgomery via their website. "That's who we are. We cut our teeth in the honky tonks and no matter what you try to do, we have to be us or it just doesn't sound right."
