Banking on it

Call me old fashioned but I think reports in Bahrain of the demise of traditional banking are premature.

Granted, the Internet may have changed the way people handle their financial affairs but there will always be a place in the system for bank branches. Not long ago, people were sounding the death knell for post offices but they are far from finished and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw more of them reopening in the future.

It's similar with the banks, it is inconceivable that they will shut shop altogether. Bill Ganett
