July 16--PARTAKE OF BUBBLES & BAUBLES -- An Evening of Fashion and Jewels, and you, too, can support The Moms' Network's good works in the community.

President Beth Swanson said this year's Aug. 9 fundraising shindig at 7 p.m. will feature food, bubbly, beautiful jewels and live music at Sapolil Cellars, 15 E. Main St.

Jewelry from local businesses will be modeled during the event, then auctioned off to raise money to fund group-sponsored programs.

"Bubbles & Baubles is such a fun evening. The money raised at this event will enable us to continue providing quality community events such as parent workshops, the diaper drive and our Books for Babes promotion.

"Another benefit is providing a night out for couples or for just the ladies," Swanson said.

"We are thrilled to have a wonderful selection of jewelry from sparkles to vintage and a new twist with live music this year." She said Seattle musician Bradford Loomis identifies with and supports the mission of the Moms' Network.

"He marries grit and melody to dig to the roots of American folklore and speak of the raw reality of the human condition with passion. His stories span several lifetimes of relatable emotions."

Participating businesses are Martin's Jewelers, Falkenbergs Jewelers, Forward, Feryl Design, Studio Opal Boutique, Macy's, Door Number Two, Stella & Dot, Vahe Twisted and Walla Walla Clothing Company.

The $20 admission includes live music, appetizers, a complimentary glass of Champagne for the ladies with beer, wine and cocktails available for purchase.

Purchase tickets at, or Book & Game Company.
