China Huarong Offers USD 1.5 billion Bonds Abroad

BEIJING, July 16, SinoCast -- China Huarong Asset Management Corporation (CHAMC) revealed offering of USD 1.5 billion bonds abroad last week, which will be traded from mid July on the Hong Kong bourse, including USD 300 million for three-year and USD 1.2 billion for five-year, whose coupon rates respectively hit 3% and 4%. The bonds were offered in line with Reg-S rules, 850% over subscribed, with subscription value surpassing USD 12.8 billion.

The US dollar bonds are one of the biggest abroad for financial asset management companies as well as Chinese financial institutions, told China Huarong board chairman to reporters.
