Sweden : TELE2 BUSINESS secures health, social care inspectorate contract in SWEDEN

July 15, 2014

Tele2 Business has won a contract from the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO).

The deal is said to be for a period of 30 months with a 30-month extension option.

The deal is for the supply of switchboard, fixed line and mobile telecommunications services along with video conferencing technology.

According to IVO's head of IT, Jonas Olsson, the inspectorate did not want to be locked in to hardware or software which it neither wanted nor needed, however it preferred a flexible model for its infrastructure. It will be paying by the month instead and will be able to scale up or down as per the requirement.

The mobile and fixed telephony services is designed to cover about 650 users.
