Malaysian Ringgit Slides To 5-day Low Against US Dollar

KUALA LUMPUR (Alliance News) - The Malaysian ringgit weakened against the US dollar in the Asian session on Wednesday.

Against the greenback, the ringgit fell to a 5-day low of 60.2755. At yesterday's close, the ringgit was trading at 60.1300 against the greenback.

If the ringgit extends its downtrend, it is likely to find the support around the 60.55 area.

Traders await the Malaysia's CPI report for June to be released later in the day.
