Cunningham graduated from
degree in music and a certificate in creative writing.
"I was really fortunate to have a piano teacher, here, in
"I'm trying to make it as a music composer. Ever since I was a little girl, I have diaries from before I could read music, trying to write down little songs I had made up."
The 22-year-old will move to
"It took me not long to come up with it, but a long time to realize it," she said. "It was actually quite difficult to write in terms of figuring out the math -- 'What is somebody's average stride length or how long does it take to get from this point to this point?' "
Cunningham approached the

She said of "Walkabout," "This is a premiere of a piece that is a little complicated to get together, so it may work beautifully, or it may be a little messy; that's kind of part of the beauty of doing something that is inviting anybody to be involved."
