The spec building would sit on more than 1,000 acres, and consist of four walls and a roof, saving a business months of construction time. The spec building would be about 100,000-square-feet, and does have the potential for future expansion.
"It can be sold to whomever, and what this is is to really have a building marketable for the next industrial prospect," Killain said. "The building itself will be easy to expand."
Council will hear the ordinance to authorize the execution and development agreement on first reading, and the item will have to go through two more readings and one final reading before its acceptance.
