Every summer, district finance offices prepare budgets for the upcoming school year and this year will be no different despite the unexpected shake up, she said.

"I told (board members) because the CFO was not able to attend, I had no information to provide them at that time," Anderson said.
In addition to the budget discussions, the board will also be asked to consider a contract for a temporary CFO to see the district through at least the next month during the
Board members have also requested to discuss the district's job description for the CFO and hiring a company to do an audit of finances for the 2013-14 school year during that meeting.
Anderson said the Auditor Generals Office conducts regular audits of the district's finances free of cost and the one for the previous school year has already begun. If the board went forward with an additional audit, the district would have to pay for it, Anderson noted.
