The proposed procurement is a total small business set aside, and thus competition is limited to bidders identified as a small business under NAICS is 236220/SIC 1542, with a size standard of $33,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Bidders attention is directed to Section 00 21 13 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 4 Aug 2014, with bids due on or about 4 September 2014. Bidders are advised that this requirement may be delayed, canceled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. THE PROJECT consists of constructing a new dining facility in the C-130 Beddown area at Cannon AFB consisting of concrete foundation and floor slab, stucco walls with CMU wainscot, flat roof and necessary utility support. The facility will consist of a kitchen area with freezers, refrigerator, dry storage, washers, food preparation and serving line. Offices, break room, bathrooms and dining area will also be included. Support facilities will include all utilities, parking, site work, communication systems and all other necessary support. The Satellite Dining Facility is a 975 SM (10,495SF) unattached structure with a flat roof. The structure will contain lighting, power receptacle, grounding, and plumbing connections. THE PROJECT will be advertised as an Invitation to Bid. Proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
