HTC launches 'power-packed performer' One E8 in India

New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): HTC has unveiled its latest lightweight dual-curve device 'HTC One E8' in New Delhi.

Speaking at the launch, President of HTC South Asia, Jack Yang, said, "The HTC One (M8) had set a new smartphone standard and now we're taking it in another exciting direction. Combining style with substance, the new device represents the incredible experience people expect from a HTC One device with a look and feel that's unlike anything else out there today".

"If you're looking for a flagship smartphone experience but want to stand out from the crowd, this is the phone for you", he added about the device, which has the best selfies camera and is the latest member of the award winning 'One family'.

The smartphone, which boasts of a 5MP front-facing and 13MP rear-facing camera, also contains the latest HTC Sense 6 experience, along with the HTC BoomSound technology, which provides rich tones, powerful bass and crystal-clear treble, and Motion Launch, which enables the smartphone to detect position and movement allowing the user to perform functions without turning on the screen.

With a 2GB RAM and 16 GB onboard memory, along with 128GB expandable memory, full HD 1080p display and Quad-Core processor, the latest device rivals Samsung's Galaxy S5, and is priced at Rs.34,900.

The launch was also attended by Chia-Lin Chang, the President of Global Sales and Chief Financial Officer and Faisal Siddiqui, Country Head of HTC India.
