Dar es Salaam. Zanlink, an internet service provider in Zanzibar, has unveiled a new brand identity as it seeks to improve its visibility.

A statement by the firm's managing director, Mr Sanjay Raja, availed to The Citizen yesterday noted that the new identity is symbolised by the introduction of a new logo, descriptive tagline and a re-designed website. "It is a logical step that communicates to existing and potential customers about what we are……it is both modernised and more visually compact, connecting with consumers in a friendly and elegant way emphasising that Zanlink is a human, approachable brand," the statement reads.

The logo symbol of the 14-year-old firm has been designed with the letter "Z" and "L'' creatively linked together such that even when used on its own, it can easily be associated with Zanlink.

It has also words "keeping you connected" as its tagline that will be used in all new marketing communications programmes while its redesigned website, according to Mr Raja reflects its new look as well as all the services that it provides.

"This launch is not just about changing our visual identity, but about changing the way we serve our customers. A new identity by itself will not determine our credibility, but we strongly believe that our new brand will inspire us in our ongoing efforts to deliver even better services to our customers," said Mr Raja in the statement.
