RESTON, VA (PRWEB) July 10, 2014
Liberty IT Solutions LLC announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Warrior Technology LLC, a rapidly growing federal IT business specializing in applications and software development, program management, systems integration, information assurance, and enterprise architecture services primarily within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Agriculture (USDA).
"As both a Service Disabled Veteran and entrepreneur, it is an exciting opportunity to be able to leverage our collective teams' work optimizing systems that focus on decreasing claims backlogs, securing health data and enabling better access to personal health information," said Liberty CEO, Bill Greene. "There is immediate gratification in being personally invested in the evolution of our Federal Healthcare systems, especially when it improves the quality of services received by our troops and Veterans. We engage our project teams in discussions that impact national issues to foster the creativity that solves these complex topics."
Warrior Technology has rapidly grown to support ten federal government projects across the U.S. Investing heavily in economically disadvantaged communities, Warrior's program management recruits top talent in these areas, bringing significant savings to the federal government.
"This transaction is consistent with our strategy to expand our technology expertise in the federal healthcare market. We are proud to integrate our capabilities with Liberty and broaden our customer base into new areas," said Warrior CEO Jeffrey S. Denniston. "Warrior's emphasis on excellent project execution is directly in line with the culture at Liberty. Our customers will benefit from the broader service offering of the combined company and our employees will benefit from expanded professional development opportunities."
The acquisition reunites top industry executives Bill Greene, Chris Bickell, Jeffrey Denniston, and Keven LeBlanc. Having led other VA-focused private companies and grown healthcare divisions together, Liberty will look to attract top talent to support growth in the Veterans Affairs, Defense Health Agency and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
"The current Federal healthcare environment is extremely dynamic. There are changing legislative mandates, increased requirement for accountability in a constrained budgetary environment, and a focus on open technology that integrates multiple agencies and systems," stated John Song of Houlihan Lokey, an independent, advisory-focused, global investment bank. "Smaller, emerging technology companies provide the innovation and agility needed to quickly implement high impact solutions. It's great to see this team get back together in support of their customers' missions."
Liberty will invigorate its focus on the VA, both in its business and health operations, leveraging its integration and inter-agency collaboration experience to extend its capabilities to other agencies.
