Huawei Ascend P7 to Be Available in Kenya From Next Week

Huawei is set to release the Ascend P7 smartphone in Kenya from next week.

The phone was launched in globally in May and Kenya becomes the second country after South Africa where the Ascend P7 will be launched.

David Chenxuejun, vice country general manager of solution sales and marketing, Huawei said: "We are excited to announce and officially launch this gadget in the Kenyan market after we launched it earlier in May in France for the global market. The device comes in with a new design, is more beautiful and humanic and people will find it more comfortable to use it. The processing capability is also very big because of the CPU."

The Ascend P7 has a 5.0 inch INCELL touch-sensitive screen and also the latest version of Android operating system, Android 4.4 .2 KitKat / Huawei Emotion UI 2.3.

For the "selfie" lovers, the Ascend P7 comes with a rear facing camera of 13-megapixels with flash and a front facing camera of up to 8-megapixels.

Weighing only 124 grams, the phone has a microSD card slot on the side to boost its theoretical maximum 16GB of built-in memory and a thickness of 6.5mm. There are two card slots where users can interchange the SIM cards with the micro SD cards on either slots.

Currently the phone comes in two colors, white and black.
