July 10, 2014

ENP Newswire - 10 July 2014

Release date- 09072014 - Esslingen, - A new, free smartphone app for motor home heating systems, an extended air outlet program range and the Ebercool Holiday III water-based cooling system: These are the Eberspaecher highlights at the Caravan Salon 2014, which takes place from 29 August until 7 September in Duesseldorf.

Motor home travelers want to experience nature at its best while still enjoying all the comforts of home onboard. Eberspaecher's powerful, economical heating and air-conditioning systems are major factors in achieving that combination. A new smartphone app for the EasyStart Call remote control system now enables Eberspaecher's diesel-operated auxiliary heaters to be remotely controlled even more easily than before from the smartphone touchscreen. Featuring intuitive menu guidance, this new app is like the previous version available to download free of charge for Android (version 2.3 or higher) and Apple devices (iOS 5 version or higher, iPhone 4).

Warmth with added comfort

Airtronic air heaters and Hydronic water heater units from Eberspaecher provide reliable and comfortable warmth in a motor home. As they are connected directly to the vehicle's diesel tank, no heavy gas cylinders are needed. The diesel heaters also provide benefits as additional heaters for the driver's cockpit, heating up the front area, preventing cold penetrating into the rear interior, and clearing ice and snow from the windows in winter.

Intelligent air guidance

To ideally distribute the warm air from the Airtronic units in the motor home, Eberspaecher has developed a new air outlet range which also scores thanks to its easy installation. The air hoses can be clipped directly into the air outlet's hose connection fitting, with no need for additional cable ties or clamps. Covers are available in black and white. Even more sizes have been released to coincide with the Caravan Salon 2014, with connectors and trims available in 50, 60, 75 and 90 millimeter diameter, matching all commonly used air hose formats. The package is rounded off by practical air control elements which reduce the air outlet diameter of multi-channel systems to control the distribution of warm air onboard motor homes exactly as needed.

Water-based stationary cooling system for maximum flexibility

With Ebercool Holiday III, Eberspaecher is presenting an energy-efficient climate control solution at the Caravan Salon. The 12 Volt water-based stationary cooling system is powered directly by the battery. The system is so economical in its power consumption that it can be run for lengthy periods of time with no need for external power. That provides flexibility for stop-offs and lengthier stays at any stage of a trip. Maintaining battery capacity at all times so as to ensure reliable engine starting, an undervoltage protection automatically shuts down the unit if the power falls below a minimum limit. The water-based AC model works with no compressor, so it is very quiet - ideal for restful sleep on hot summer nights. It is also very easy to install, thanks to the special roof hatch installation kits available for many motor home models.
