July 10--NORMAN -- Gallery exhibitions, live music, children's activities and food are all part of this month's art walk, set for Friday.
The Second Friday Circuit of Art begins at 6 p.m., with most activities continuing until 9 or 10 p.m., with some late-night offerings at downtown clubs.
The Depot gallery at 200 S Jones Ave. will feature "This Is Our Oklahoma Land," a solo exhibition of photographs by Kim Baker. A reception will feature live music and refreshments.
The Firehouse Art Center at 444 S Flood Ave. is presenting an exhibition of recent work from its faculty members. Mediums range from painting, fiber, printmaking and stone carving to jewelry, sculpture, ceramics and drawing.
Guestroom Records, 125 E Main, will present music by Tumbling Nebulae, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Dope Chapel, 115 N Crawford Ave., will host Norman Printorium 2014, an international print show featuring work from around the globe. Tape Gun Records will present a concert featuring Slow Machine.
Bell's Mystical Beginnings, 207 W Main, will offer Tarot and Oracle readings, healing touch energy therapies, art, refreshments and a drum circle.
