Chinese, Kyrgyz companies sign agreement on construction of plants in southern Kyrgyzstan with total investments of $14 million

Chinese and Kyrgyz companies signed the agreement on construction of production facilities in southern Kyrgyzstan with the overall scope of investments of $14 million, reported the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

The fair of Chinese companies took place in Osh city. Three official delegations participated in the fair, including the delegations of Kashgar, Xinjiang, Gansu, 124 Chinese entrepreneurs and more than 60 companies.

Products of famous Chinese companies of a high quality were showcased during the fair, including household appliances, construction materials, clothing, dishware, agricultural equipment.

Roundtable discussions, field visits, as well as visit to the markets of Osh and Jalal-Abad regions were organized for Chinese and Kyrgyz entrepreneurs.

Bilateral agreements, protocols and contracts were signed between the parties, including agreements on investments:

1. For construction of the cement plant in Aravan district for $10 million;

2. Construction of cardboard and paper factory for $1.7 million;

3. Construction of the plant for processing and packaging of natural honey for $600,000;

4. Cultivation of seedlings in greenhouses in Osh city for $1.7 million.

The overall sum of investments is $14 million.
