June 30--Founders Community Bank President and Chief Administrative Officer Reese T. Davies retired Monday.

Davies, 72, also retired as director of both the bank and its holding company, Founders Bancorp, according to a bank news release. He will now serve as director emeritus of the bank.

Davies, a 1960 graduate of San Luis Obispo High School, attended San Fernando Valley State College (now California State University Northridge), the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

He joined Founders Community Bank in February 2008 and has held the director, president and chief administrative officer positions since that time.

During his tenure there, total assets increased from $84 million to over $160 million and the San Luis Obispo-based bank expanded by opening three locations: the Marsh Street downtown branch, the Atascadero loan production office and the Morro Bay branch, Davies said in the release.
