BRIEF: Local talent search looking for singers

June 30--ENID, Okla. -- Local singers will have a chance to win a private audition with "America's Got Talent" through a talent search competition.

Enid Dream Night Talent Search will allow aspiring music artists the chance to win $1,000, perform in front of hundreds of people and record a professional video of the performance, in addition to the "America's Got Talent" audition, according to a press release.

For the first phase of the competition, contestants must register by July 15 by uploading performance videos to the TalentWatch website. Participants may enter one or two music videos to be judged by fans, according to the TalentWatch website.

The top 20 artists will move on to the live competition phase July 25, when industry professionals will work with singers to prepare finalists for the live performances July 26 at Chisholm Trail Expo Center.

The contest is open to artists ages 12 to 29. There is a $20 entry fee.
