Black Country Celebrates 12th Annual Vehicle Festival

Black Country Living Museum’s Festival of Black Country Vehicles wheels into its 12th year on Sunday 28thJuly, 2014 and this year’s line up promises to be even bigger and better than ever. The Festival of Black Country Vehicles is an annual gathering of cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles all built in the Black Country and sees over one hundred vehicles on display around the Museum’s 26 acre site. The festival celebrates the Black Country’s historical reputation as a major centre for vehicle manufacturing.

The vehicles, all built in the Black Country from 1913 up until the present day, will cavalcade around the Museum site, including a rare and newly renovated 1950s ‘Frisky’ with one of its original project design engineers. The festival showcases more than 120 vintage vehicles including Austin, Bean, Clyno, Jensen, Lomax, Quantum, Rickman, Star, Sunbeam, Swallow, Turner and Westfield.

Enthusiasts are sure to steer a fast track towards Black Country Living Museum for a weekend of motoring entertainment which is sure to be the torque of the town! About the Museum
