$100 million from Kyrgyzstan-Russia Development fund to be used for mortgage lending

July 1, 2014

During discussion of the charter of Kyrgyzstan-Russia Development Fund with $1 billion capital, the decision was made that $100 million will be spent for mortgage lending, President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev said on July 1 during the ceremony of inauguration of the apartment building for servicemen of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Sadovoye village.

"The government should not stop on that. It should find 100 million annually for resolution of this issue," the President said.

Young servicemen or public servants in developed countries can take mortgage loans for 20-30 years at low interest rates and live normally. "We should achieve this as well," President Atambayev stated.
