BRIEF: Today's Music Picks: The Eels are ready to rock San Francisco

June 09--Mark Oliver Everett is an amazing talent.

The singer-songwriter, who is commonly referenced by the single letter "E," is the primary force behind the great alt-rock band The Eels.

The group has delivered so many solid albums over the years. Its latest outing is "The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett," which E and company will support in concert Tuesday at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Chelsea Wolfe opens the 8 p.m. show.

If you answered "yes" to both of those questions then you might want to check out the Napa Valley Jazz Getaway.

The event, founded by Brian Culbertson and billed as an "immersive music and lifestyle experience," combines a lineup of contemporary jazz and R&B talent with fine dining, wine tasting and other social festivities.
