Meru Networks Introduces 'merUniverse' Online Community

Meru Networks said it is launching merUniverse, a community of Wi- Fi industry experts from around the world working together to ensure the best possible mobility experiences for themselves, their organizations and their end users.

According to a release from the Company, the center of the community is merUniverse.com, an online gathering place for discussion of Wi-Fi, mobile applications, network management and related issues.

"Wi-Fi is now the number one way that people connect to data, applications and each other," said Gary Girolimon, merUniverse member and director of technology for Goffstown School District in New Hampshire. The district has deployed Meru 802.11ac to all of its schools. "It is more important than ever before that we who design, deploy and manage wireless networks have a place to discuss how, why and what needs to be done to keep ourselves, our networks and our users operating at the absolute pinnacle of performance. MerUniverse is that central meeting place."

An open forum for brainstorming, collaboration and ongoing technology discussion, merUniverse connects and informs Wi-Fi users and industry experts around the world. Members are encouraged to submit ideas, comments and longer form original content and to give feedback to other participants on their insights.

"The community encourages users to ask the most pressing questions that they have, instantly, and lets them share their knowledge with others.
