June 7, 2014

PUB operator and brewer Fuller, Smith & Turner has said like-for- like sales at its managed estate were up 8.3 per cent in the year ended March 29 as a recovery in consumer spending boosted food sales at its outlets.

Fuller, which brews ales including the London Pride brand, saw adjusted pre-tax profit rise from pound(s)31.1 million to pound(s)34.1 million with revenue up six per cent to pound(s)288 million.

The London business exports its drinks to 68 countries but has no plans to open outlets outside the UK.
