ADB to invest $450 million in Kyrgyzstan in 2014

The Asian Development Bank is going to invest $450 million in Kyrgyzstan in 2014, said Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Joomart Otorbayev on June 7 in Cholpon-Ata town.

Previously, as Otorbayev said, the Bank planned to invest about $80 million.

"How do we achieve this? We achieved it because we work qualitatively. Our country's rating at the international organizations depends on the quality of our work. If we continue to work this way, we are going to increase the investment attractiveness and increase the financial assistance," he said.

The ADB funds will be spent to development of the roads, communications, and other.
