IMF: China 2014 GDP Growth to 7.5%

June 6, 2014

BEIJING, June 6, SinoCast -- IMF Vice President David Lipton predicted China's economic growth will reach about 7.5% this year.

On if China should issue stimulating policies, he said only if the economic growth was obviously lower than this year's target, the policies shall be launched and predicted China's economic growth will reach about 7% and may be lower next year, which tallies with China's target to transform to a sustainable development road.

He pointed out the global economic improvement will provide a support for China's export growth in the second half of this year, which is helpful to alleviating the impact by slowing domestic demands.
