Bulgaria : BULGARIA needs EUR 80 million loan for construction of gas interconnection with GREECE

Bulgaria is carrying on talks with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) for a loan for construction of a gas interconnection between Haskovo (Bulgaria) and Komotini (Greece).

It is anticipated that the gas pipeline`s construction are to be finished by end-2016.

Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) is needing to gain EUR 80 million loan for the construction. The loan would be guaranteed by the governement.
