Omnitec Solutions Secures 2 OSD Contracts Worth $55 Million

Omnitec Solutions had been awarded two contracts for continuing work supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD): a five- year contract with the Defense Media Activity (DMA), Defense Enterprise Media Systems (DEMS) Office with a value of $49 million, and a five-year contract with the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs (A/SD [PA]) with a value of $6 million.

According to a company release, Omnitec's technical and program management services supporting the Public Web Program will continue to help reduce infrastructure costs by deploying a Web Content Management System throughout every military service in support of the Defense Media Activity, Defense Enterprise Media Systems Office.

"We are very grateful for this opportunity to continue providing the best use of the latest technologies to consolidate and integrate the military's web presence, using Omnitec-produced and government- owned web-based Content Management System (CMS)," said Morris Brown, President and CEO of Omnitec Solutions, "This reduces government infrastructure costs, while supporting rapid access to critical news and information from across the world, for all military services."
