Georgia,Moldova Republic of : GEORGIA and MOLDOVA to push on work over double taxation avoidance deal

A bilateral meeting was held by Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri as part of the annual meeting of member-states of the Holland-Belgium group of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank.

He specially met with Moldovan Minister of Finance Anatoly Arapu and manager of the Moldovan National Bank Dorin Dragutanu. The two parties talked plans for intensifying the bilateral trade and economic relations.

According to the Finance Ministry, the work over the agreement on avoidance of double taxation will be prompted. In addition, Nodar Khaduri met with the finance ministers of the member-states of the Netherlands-Belgium group and heads of central banks, including Ukrainian and Armenian counterparts.

They talked political and economic situation in the region and issues of bilateral association. Minister of Finance of the Netherlands Jeroen Dijsselbloem talked a memorandum signed by the Ministries of Finance of Georgia and the Netherlands.
