June 05--Think there's nothing to do in Chesapeake? Real estate research blog movoto.com considers it the third-most boring city in America.
The blog lists Chesapeake third on the list compiled among the 100 most populated places in the U.S. and ranked the cities on measures such as nightlife, live music venues, active life options, arts and entertaiment and fast food restaurants per capita using 2010 U.S. Census business listings. The rankings also considered the percentage of non-fast food restaurants, percentage of residents aged 18 to 34 and population density.
Norfolk also appears on the list at no. 31. among the most boring cities in the country.

However, if you're looking for a place to settle down, the blog also lists Chesapeake among the best cities for home buyers, coming in seventh in the rankings. Virginia Beach makes the list at no. 12.
The blog considered the total homes for sale per capita, median days on the market, affordability, crime rate, school quality and unemployment rate.
