GOOGLE'S NEW PLATFORM FOR UNDER-$100 SMARTPHONES

Google has launched a new platform Android One for making low-cost smartphones in India that will be priced below $100 (Rs6,000). Google intends to launch the low-cost smartphone in partnership with handset makers - Micromax, Karbonn and Spice. The handsets will come with dual-SIM, a micro SD card slot and FM radio.
