BRIEF: Electronics reported stolen from home

June 30--Police were called to a residence on East Jackson Street Friday

afternoon because someone wanted to report a burglary.

According to a police incident report, more than $1,000 worth of computer hardware and software were stolen from the house between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

The items that were allegedly stolen are a 10.1-inch SAMSUNG tablet valued at $600, a TOSHIBA hard drive with movies on it that was valued at $200 and a SONY amp also valued at $200.

None of the items were able to be recovered at the time this article was being prepared for publication.

Police ask that if anyone has information that can help law enforcement, to call the McAlester Police Department's Detective Division at 918-421-4917.
