Abalta Demonstrates WEBLINK Using Visteon’s OpenAir Infotainment Platform

NOVI, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- This week at the Telematics Detroit show in Detroit, Abalta Technologies is showcasing its WEBLINK® connected car solution using Visteon’s OpenAir™ infotainment platform.

WEBLINK takes a unique approach to car connectivity that allows OEMs and tier one suppliers to maintain their brand identity. Abalta has also made it easy to adapt the user experience and applications to different geographical areas and regions by utilizing HTML5 apps. Using the driver’s phone to push content and apps to the vehicle’s head unit, WEBLINK gives the end user the option of upgrading the technology in their vehicle by simply adding services on their smartphone. WEBLINK is also flexible, and can be used with iOS, Android, and other smartphone operating systems.
