Particular attention is given to the American Revolution, the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, Polish immigration after the November uprising in 1830, Polish participation in the U.S. Civil War, American relief efforts for Poland during World War I, and the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1919.

The film "The Fourth Partition" will be screened at 1 p.m. today at the museum. The title refers to the years between 1870 and 1920, when Poland was divided among Russia, Austria and Germany, and more than 4 million Polish immigrants reached the United States, particularly Chicago.
