"It requires an unusual layout. You have to have 1,500-1,800 feet straight away," Campbell said. "You can't find a lot of places with that and still have room for parking.
"And, this is the area where we did fly the Jenny, so it all kind of fits together."
The races -- billed as the only race of its kind in
Horses enter the track at the finish line and walk down the 600-foot track until they cross the finish line. Then, once the starter drops the flag, the riders do a 180-degree turn and race back down the track.
This year she won a photo finish in her prize round race with
Biddy's time placed fourth.
While only the top three finishers won money, the time separating third through fifth was .04 seconds.
"This is such a fun event, and everybody that comes out can't wait to come back out next year," Campbell said.
