BRIEF: Jerash festival activities to resume in Amman

June 29--AMMAN -- The 29th Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts concluded its activities at the ancient Roman city on Friday with a concert by Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury at the South Theatre that attracted over 4,000 attendees, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

At the North Theatre, Jordanian artist Macadi Nahhas entertained audiences while the Chinese troupe One Night in Chang'an brought Sino culture to Jerash visitors.

Lebanese artist Najwa Karam's concert was the highlight of Thursday's activities.

The festival's concerts resume in Amman'sRoyal Cultural Centre on Sunday with a performance by Mohamed-Ali Kammoun's Tunisian folk band, according to Petra.
