South Dakota Agricultural Prices

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., June 27 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's South Dakota Agricultural Statistics office issued the following news release:

Preliminary prices received by farmers for winter wheat in June averaged $6.43 per bushel, down 65 cents from last month according to the USDA'sNational Agricultural Statistics Service. The preliminary June spring wheat price, at $ 6.75, is down 62 cents from last month.

The preliminary June oats price, at $3.66, is down 24 cents from the last month.

The preliminary June corn price, at $ 3.79, is down 45 cents from last month.

The preliminary June soybean price, at $ 13.60, is down 40 cents from last month.

The preliminary June price for all sunflowers is $20.70, down $1.90 from last month.

The June alfalfa price, at $135.00 per ton, is down $4.00 from last month. The other hay price, at $91.00, is down $6.00 from last month.
