NAROK Unveils Sh8 Billion Budget

NAROK Finance executive Lenah Munge yesterday tabled a Sh8.6 billion budget for the 2014-2015 financial year. Munge also revealed that the government will streamline sources of revenue to increase earnings.

She said earnings from the Maasai Mara game researve, the county's main source of revenue will reduce in the next year due to the travel advisories issued by foreign countries over terror attacks in Kenya.

Munge said the county plans to collect Sh3.9 billion locally with Sh2.5 billion coming from Maasai Mara.
