Context : Benin has a high population growth rate (3.5% according to provisional results of the Census 2013) which leads to a strong demand for education. Incentives were implemented in 2006 and resulted in progress, but issues of quality of learning, mentoring, inadequate training / employment always arise. Similarly, equity boys / girls in the success and completion of basic education remains a challenge. The initiative of the 2nd Forum on Education could solve some problems of the system and influence the support of SDC. Goal : Strengthen human capital to provide the country with quality human resources capable of supporting economic and social development of Benin Outcomes : Effect 1 - The quality of basic education in the targeted department has improved and helped improve the internal efficiency of the system for girls and boys; Effect 2 - Girls targeted department have access to training that enhance their professional skills in line with the needs of the local labor market; Effect 3 - expertise in educational research have developed and improved the educational policies and practices of Benin; Effect 4 - Educational Policies and Strategies respond better to the challenges of the education system Target group : The target group is mostly girls (in school, out of school and out of school) in three municipalities Borgou. Results from previous phases : 330 students accompanied in higher education; 230 have completed their training and 130 are inserted locally (communes). Increased enrollment in higher Bourgou frames between 2008-2010 (2.83% to 6.25%) and presence of women became the majority (16% to 60%). About 1500 high school girls in difficult circumstances supported: improved success rate (BEPC: 34% 2009 44% 2010 Status: 27% 2009 37% 2010), CEP: 54% 2008 74% 2010. Creation of 23 preschool centers and staff from 231 to 1521 (2008-10). Reduction of cases of pregnancy (33.33% in 2008 to 17.91% in 2010). 5 Common accompanied to have an integrated communal development plans (PDC2) education plan.
