BRIEF: Two arrested for fake credit cards at casino

June 27--WATERLOO -- Two Chicago residents have been arrested for allegedly trying to use fake credit cards at the Isle Hotel Casino Waterloo.

Agents with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation arrested Jerrod Yarnell Joiner, 36, and Cashiauna Renee Jordan, 21, on Wednesday at the casino for ongoing criminal conduct and second-degree fraud.

According to court records, Jordan approached the guest service window about 7:40 p.m. and attempted to withdraw $3,000 using a fraudulent Visa card. Joiner, who is suspected of being a lookout, was located in the area, records state.

Police found two other fake Visa credit cards on Jordan, records state.

Jordan was taken to the Black Hawk County Jail, and bond was set at $30,000. Joiner was released from jail.
