Bober Markey Fedorovich Hires New Senior Manager, Enhances International Tax Expertise

AKRON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bober Markey Fedorovich, a regional audit, accounting and business advisory firm with offices in Akron and Cleveland, has hired Kenneth R. Nilsestuen, CPA, senior manager, International Tax Services.

Nilsestuen has spent much of his career in public accounting assisting clients with foreign operations. He has led two public company tax departments, developing and implementing tax-reducing strategies for these multinational corporations. His expertise also includes transfer pricing as a tax planning tool, IC-DISCs, FIN 48 (ASC 740) documentation, and accounting for income taxes.

Nilsestuen designed and co-taught an 80-hour international tax training course and recently was an adjunct professor at Kent State University, where he taught tax courses.

Prior to joining Bober Markey Fedorovich, Nilsestuen was employed with Grant Thornton, LLP in Cleveland.

His specialties include restructuring foreign operations, foreign tax planning, foreign tax credit planning, transfer pricing, tax treaty applications, FAS 109 (ASC 740) for multinational clients, acquisition structuring and IRS representation.

Nilsestuen earned his Bachelor of Science in business/accounting and English minor from the University of Minnesota.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), Nilsestuen is an avid philatelist (studies stamps, postal history and other related items). He is involved in many philatelic organizations around the world, including serving as treasurer for the Institute of Analytical Philately, Inc. and the American Philatelic Society. He is also treasurer and trustee of the Cleveland International Piano Competition, Inc.
