Summer FAC Returns to Vail with Live Music from Town Cavalry on Friday, June 27; Food and drink specials at Eagle's Nest from 5 - 9 p.m.

Release date- 24062014 - It's officially summer in the Rockies and this Friday, June 27 at Vail Mountain marks the start of the resort's signature FAC (Friday Afternoon Club) at Eagle's Nest with live music from Town Cavalry.

Joined together out of a mutual love of music and familiarity with one another's bands, Town Cavalry is made up of local musicians from The Congress, MTHDS, My Brother's Keeper, and Frogs Gone Fishin'. Town Cavalry combines covers of rock, blues, reggae, funk, country and jams for an energetic and fun live performance.

Festivities begin at 5 p.m. every Friday throughout the summer on Talon's Deck Grill. Kick off the weekend with free live music, food and drink specials, and more all while enjoying amazing sunsets and the best views in the valley. Guests can also enter Bud Light's free giveaway for a chance to win a Yeti mountain bike. Register each week at FAC for the drawing on Aug. 22.

All performances are free and the Eagle Bahn Gondola is free to 2014-2015 pass holders. Guests who have not yet secured the best season pass deal in the ski industry for next winter can purchase one at www.epicpass.com. Twilight gondola tickets can be purchased after 5 p.m. The last ride up the Eagle Bahn Gondola during evening operations is at 9 p.m.
