MolecularHealth to Present at WIN Symposium

June 30, 2014

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Clinical Trials Week -- MolecularHealth announced that members of its Innovation and Applied Research team, led by Chief Scientific Officer David Jackson, Ph.D., will speak at this year's WIN Symposium, titled, "WINning Combinations for Precision Cancer Medicine." The company will present three poster presentations that demonstrate cancer research findings tied closely to the symposium's theme of breakthrough biomarker investigations and combined therapeutic approaches (see also MolecularHealth).

The MolecularHealth abstracts accepted for presentation at the WIN 2014 Symposium address key developments in precision cancer treatment and highlight data that support the value of MolecularHealth's proprietary analytics engine for guiding patient treatment. The presentations will explore the benefits of using whole exome sequencing data for clinical trial prioritization, computational methods in optimizing biomarker utility, and the relationship between co-medications and adverse events in cancer patients.

MolecularHealth's analytics engine is the backbone of its cancer treatment decision support offering, TreatmentMAP™, which was commercially launched this April in the United States and Europe. Combining precision medicine with advanced data analytics, this end-to-end offering guides physicians to the safest and most effective cancer treatment options for their patients.

The abstracts are scheduled to be presented as follows: Date & Time:

Monday, June 23rd from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. and from 6:20 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Title: Systems-level analysis of drug interactions in cancer patients supports the need for a broader analytical approach to personalized cancer medicine Abstract: P1.01 Session: Poster Session, P1. Bio-informatics Presenter: Guillaume Taglang, M.Sc.

Date & Time: Monday, June 23rd from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. and from 6:20 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Title: A knowledge-driven strategy based on cancer-specific disease mechanisms provides a new tool for clinical trial prioritization Abstract: P1.02 Session: Poster Session, P1. Bio-informatics Presenter: Theodoros Soldatos, Ph.D.

Date & Time: Monday, June 23rd from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. and from 6:20 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Title: Whole-exome sequencing data to guide patient stratification for postsurgical adjuvant treatment of endometrial carcinomas Abstract: P2.16 Session: Poster Session, P2. Biomarkers: development and applications Presenter: Alexander Zien, Ph.D.

This year's symposium will be held on June 23rd and 24th at Hotel Marriott Rive Gauche in Paris, France.
