ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- CMS Products, Costa Mesa, California, has been assigned a patent (8,762,699) developed by Gary Streuter, San Clemente, California, Randall Deetz, Costa Mesa, California, and Kenneth Burke, Laguna Hills, California, for a "system, apparatus, and method for initiating a reboot of a personal computer system by pressing a button on an attached storage device and causing the operating system on the attached storage device to be booted."
